Preparation for Sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation

Our Sacramental Preparation Program for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation is parent-based – parents work with their children at home to prepare them for the Sacraments of First Eucharist and First Reconciliation.  It is a church-designed program and we provide the parents with all the materials they will need to successfully complete the curriculum with their child.  Special activities are planned throughout the process, including special Retreat days for students and parents. First Eucharist students have additional classes where they can further participate in preparing for their First Communion.

The Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are typically celebrated in the second grade.  Sometimes some of our second graders are not ready to receive First Reconciliation in the Fall.  If your child is experiencing any fears or anxieties about it, please do not hesistate to contact Michaela Stanton, who may be able to offer you some suggestions, including tours of the reconcilation room or kid-friendly meetings with Fr. Steve and Fr. John.

First Reconciliation will be celebrated on December 14, 2024, with an informational meeting on Oct 6, 2024.

First Eucharist will be  celerated on May 3 & 4 2025, beginning with Rite of Enrollment and an informational meeting on February 2, 2025.
