MEMORIAL GARDEN
Our Lady of the Chesapeake is
pleased to announce the building of a Memorial Garden on our church
grounds.
Paving
Stones: The creation of this Garden presents an opportunity for
those in the parish community to memorialize a special person such as a
parent, child, teacher, or mentor, or a special event such as a birth,
baptism, first holy communion, confirmation, anniversary, or wedding
through the use of engraved paving stones for the paths and walkways
around the gazebo and through the garden.
Each donated
paving stone can be engraved with a special message, creating a gift that
will last a lifetime and that will be seen by hundreds of people who will
walk the paths of this very special garden.
Cost:
The requested donation for an engraved paving stone in the Memorial Garden
is $50.00 with the proceeds going directly to our Building Fund.
Ordering:
If you are interested in ordering a paving stone, a printable
version of the Order Form is available which you may use to send to
the Parish along with the requested donation. Please be aware that it
may take up to several months, depending on when you place your order,
for your memorial paving stone to actually be placed in the Memorial
Garden, as a complete order is not placed by the parish until a
sufficiently large quantity is requested.
